Community Standards and Moderation Plan

Introduction

The National Association of Community Health Workers (NACHW) was founded to unite the community health workforce to achieve health, equity and social justice. NACHW’s platform CHW Connector aims to bolster the reach of the profession by providing a space in which individuals can connect with other CHWs, share and access resources, get timely information on policy and advocacy, follow their state CHW Networks and Associations and discuss a variety of topics with CHWs from across the country and the world.

Self-determination and self-empowerment of our workforce; integrity of character; dignity and respect for every human being, social justice and equity to ensure fair treatment, access, opportunity and outcomes for all individuals and communities – these are the values that guide our work. The CHW Connector platform is not just a useful tool, but a reflection of NACHW as an organization. As such, we hold users to content and behavior standards on our platform.
